The 2026 NJSBA Diversity Summit: Power, Justice and Accountability

The Garden State Bar Association is proud to co-sponsor The 2026 NJSBA Diversity Summit: Power, Justice and Accountability, a daylong program focused on the intersection of power, justice, accountability, civil rights and diversity, equity and inclusion in today’s legal and institutional landscape.

The Summit will examine how these issues are unfolding in real time, including the state’s role in civil rights investigations and the practical challenges legal professionals face when navigating power structures within law firms, agencies, corporations and other institutions.

The program will feature a lunchtime keynote presentation by Antonio Romanucci of Romanucci & Blandin, who will discuss accountability in law enforcement cases, municipal and federal liability, qualified immunity and the broader pursuit of equal access to justice.
