The Garden State Bar Association, in collaboration with the New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics (OAE), is proud to present a virtual lunchtime CLE program exploring the intersection of artificial intelligence, attorney ethics, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
As AI continues to transform the legal profession, attorneys must understand how existing ethical obligations apply to emerging technologies. This program will provide practical guidance on navigating the Rules of Professional Conduct in the context of AI, including issues related to competence, confidentiality, supervision, and responsible use of legal technology.
The program will also examine how AI systems can reflect and amplify bias, and what ethical responsibilities attorneys have to address these concerns in their practice.
This is a valuable opportunity to earn CLE credit while gaining insight into one of the most rapidly evolving areas of legal ethics.

Ryan Moriarty, Esq., NJ Statewide Ethics Coordinator
Clifford Dawkins, Esq., Chair, GSBA AI & Technology in Practice Section
