Join the Garden State Bar Association for our Annual Meeting on June 1, 2026, where members will gather to reflect on the past year, look ahead to the future of the organization, and participate in the election of officers and directors for the 2026–2027 term.

At this important meeting, the GSBA Nominating Committee will present its slate of candidates for leadership positions, including officers and members of the Board of Directors. The general membership will have the opportunity to vote on these nominees and help shape the direction of the Association.

Proposed Slate of Officers (2026–2027 Term):

• President-Elect: Alan Babbitt Jr.

• Vice President: Dominique J. Carroll

• Treasurer: Lauren B. Jones

• Secretary: Kea S. Noyen

Proposed Directors:

• Three-Year Term (2026–2029): Marlin Townes, III; Aymen A. Abousi

• Two-Year Term (2026–2028): Diana-Marie Laventure; Courtney A. Johnson; Robert Johnson; Gregory Greene

• One-Year Term (2026–2027): Yvette Gibbons; Chelsea Coleman; Rhasheda Douglass

Please note that President-Elect Trina L. Glass will automatically assume the role of President, and President Joel Clymer will serve as Immediate Past President, joining the Board of Directors (one-year term) and the Nominating Committee.

Additional nominations may be made by petition signed by ten (10) dues-paid members. Petitions must be submitted at least thirty (30) days prior to the Annual Meeting and include the nominee’s written acceptance and qualifications.

This meeting is a key opportunity for members to engage in the governance of GSBA, connect with colleagues, and support the continued growth and impact of our organization.
