SBA Community:
I want to share with you some important news. John Page, one of our Past Presidents, has been elected to serve as the President-elect of the National Bar Association for the 2011 - 2012 Bar Year. For those of you who do not know John, I have included an e-flyer he distributed. It not only describes his vision and plan for the National Bar Association, but also supports why the GSBA Board of Directors voted to endorse John and why a majority of the GSBA members attending the NBA Conference voted to elect John.
John's term as President will begin at the conclusion of the 2012 Annual Convention next August. At that time, John will become the third GSBA member to serve as the President of the National Bar Association. In this regard, John joins Junius William, the 36th President of the NBA; and Paulette Brown, the 51st President of the NBA.
Please join me in congratulating John on his hard-fought and well-deserved victory. We look forward to working with him next year and during his term.
Thanks,
Thom Jackson
President
