GSBA President - Geraldine Reed Brown
Geraldine is the immediate past President of the Harvard Law School Association of New Jersey and the newly installed President of the Garden State Bar Association. She is a member of the following: the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on Women and the Courts; State of New Jersey, Equal Opportunity Fund, Board of Directors (2004- present); New York State Bar Association, House of Delegates (2005-Present); NYSBA Executive Committee of the Continuing Legal Education Committee; Committee on Lawyers in Transition; Committee on Alternative Dispute Resolution; Supplier Diversity Development Council of the New Jersey Bureau of Public Utilities, Chair, Seminars and Support Committee; Golden Life Member, Delta Sigma Theta, Montclair Alumnae Chapter; Black Chamber of Commerce of Northern New Jersey, Member, Board of Trustees (2007-Present). She is the former Chair of the NYSBA Committee on Attorney Professionalism and former Vice Chair of the NYSBA Corporate Counsel Section She is a former Trustee of Ramapo College of New Jersey and in that capacity served as Secretary of the Board, Member of the Executive Committee, Chair of the Academic Affairs Committee, and Chair of the Human Resources Committee. She is a former member of the Board, Montclair Early Childhood Corporation. Geraldine has served as an instructor and facilitator for the Entrepreneurial Training Institute, sponsored by the New Jersey Economic Development Authority and as an instructor on business planning for the Department of Continuing Education at Bergen Community College, as an Assistant Professor at Montclair State University, and as an Adjunct Professor at Kean University and Seton Hall Law School. She has also served as a Workshop Leader and Moderator, 20th Anniversary, Women In Business Conference and 15th Annual Women in Business Conference, sponsored by American Woman's Economic Development Corporation. She has also served as an instructor at The Institute of Business and Industry, Hudson County Community College. She is also the recipient of a plaque from the New Jersey Affirmative Action Officer's Council in recognition of her "contribution towards the enrichment of the New Jersey Equal Employment and Affirmative Action Community" Honors received by Mrs. Brown include: Who's Who of American Women; Who's Who in America; Who's Who In American Law; Who's Who in the World; Fellow, New York Bar Foundation; and Recipient of the Wynona Award, presented by the New Jersey Minority Business Development PAC.

Geraldine
Reed Brown is President of The Reed-Brown Consulting Group.
She earned a Masters in Business Administration from the Harvard
Graduate School of Business Administration, a Juris Doctor degree
from Harvard Law School, and a B.A. degree from Fisk University,
where she graduated Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa, with Departmental
Honors. Her experience encompasses being an Associate in the Corporate
Department of White & Case, a large international law firm, an Attorney
in the Legal Department of J.C. Penney Company, Inc., and as a Vice
President for The Columbia Group, a full service public utility
consulting firm.
